A new alpha release of MPICH, 4.0a1, is now available for download. This is the first alpha release in the 4.0 series. This release contains implementations for the upcoming MPI 4.0 specification. Since the MPI 4.0 specification is still in draft status, all the new API functions are using MPIX prefix in this release.
