A new stable release of MPICH, 3.4, is now available for download. This is the first stable release in the 3.4.x series. In this release, ch4 replaces ch3 as the default device configuration. New features include GPU support, Yaksa datatype engine integration, multi-VCI communication (experimental), XPMEM support, DAOS support in ROMIO (thanks to Intel contribution), and business card exchange enhancements.
Also in this release are several fixes and improvements in ch3, hydra, and common MPICH code. You can find the release on our downloads page.
Production environments are encouraged to upgrade to this release.
